IDEA Training Opens Up New Opportunities
Success
Thanks to the knowledge and skills acquired during the IDEA course in Computer Fundamentals, Engelina Badeyeva from Irkutsk was able to find a new job after her old position was downsized.
Overview
When librarian Engelina Badeyeva began attending the course in Computer Fundamentals, she required much assistance since it was her very first introduction to the computer, computer keyboard and mouse. No one at the Irkutsk IDEA Center expected that in such a short time span the alumna, who had recenty lost her employment in a wave of job cuts, would develop into such a competent and confident PC user and, despite her advanced age, quickly find a new job. Equipped with excellent computer skills and her IDEA certificate, Engelina Badeyeva successfully passed the job interview demonstrating all the knowledge and skills required by the administration of the school where she applied for work. The alumna is very grateful to the IDEA Project for this wonderful opportunity to change her life for the better.
