Internet for Successful Employment
The IDEA Center in Ryazan successfully completed the eight-hour seminar “Internet for Employment: Challenges for Young Job Seekers and Youth Workers,” attended, among other people, by a number of the IDEA Center’s alumni.
The seminar targeted unemployed youth and social workers involved with youth at risk. Job seekers attended the training in order to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for successful employment search. Social workers wanted to see what goals young job seekers pursue in coming to the IDEA Center and what particular skills they acquire during the training.
The seminar was attended by a number of IDEA alumni who had already found jobs and came to share their stories and experiences of job search, talk about the connection between their IDEA training and successful employment, and consult with the IDEA Center instructors on various issues. Youth workers had an excellent opportunity to hear about the advantages of IDEA computer training and its usefulness for job search. The IDEA Center team hopes that hearing these success stories and sharing experiences will help the seminar participants to shorten the distance between their IDEA training and successful employment.
