The SPECIALIST Computer Center joined the IDEA network in April 2009.

The Center was launched in 1991 and registered with the Moscow city administration as an NGO in the field of supplementary education (license 022523, issued by Moscow Education Committee). The SPECIALIST Computer Center trains computer experts and users in a variety of fields.

The SPECIALIST Computer Center boasts highly qualified personnel, modern information resources and original training courses and instructional materials. The training is facilitated by leading ICT experts with many years of teaching experience; 80% of the trainers have been certified by international software companies. Study materials and instructional resources specially developed for all the courses offered by the Center ensure the high quality of the training.

The SPECIALIST Computer Center has seven study centers with seventy computer classes fully outfitted with modern workstations, multimedia equipment and air conditioning. It offers more than 1,000 training courses. In the seventeen years of its work the SPECIALIST Computer Center has trained more than 40,000 users.
