The Success-Center "Crystal Globe" joined the IDEA network in June 2008.

The organization was founded in 1993 as a support club for women and families in crisis situations. It started as a group of people spontaneously gathered around educator and psychologist Ludmila Korennykh, a local math teacher with sufficient knowledge and experience to provide necessary help. The club worked for five years, holding a variety of seminars, training workshops, group and one-on-one consultations for underserved and vulnerable population groups including children and teenagers, young people, women and low-income families. The club was based purely on volunteer work, and administration of Zheleznodorozhny district of Barnaul and the Council of Chervonny residential community provided it with a free place to meet. Along with seminars and training events for its members the club organizers were working on developing and testing educational technologies for addressing crisis situations and modifying them to specific circumstances.

In 1998 the club officially founded and registered its own non-profit organization, Educational and Training Success Center “Crystal Sphere” – currently one of the most active NGOs in Altai Area.
